Hi, I’m Jeff Wahrer,
nature-obsessed, creatively fueled, and deeply rooted in the belief that reconnection with the earth is a form of liberation.
I’m not just the founder of Living Wall Liberation. I’m its heart, hands, and soul.
My story didn’t begin in a greenhouse or design studio. It started with a quiet curiosity.
I was drawn to the idea of growing plants vertically, partly out of necessity in small spaces and partly out of wonder.
One living wall turned into many, and what began as a personal experiment has become a lifestyle. A philosophy, even. One that’s about reclaiming space, beauty, and connection in a world that often feels artificial and overbuilt.

This work is more than design for me.
It’s about healing.
It’s about resilience.
Every time I coax life from a blank wall, I’m reminded that growth is always possible, even in tight spaces, both literal and metaphorical.
I’ve come to see these living walls as metaphors for personal transformation and freedom.
Flourishing on your own terms, in your own space, despite the odds.

Through Living Wall Liberation, I share not just the how, but the why.
Yes, you’ll find practical guides and stunning design ideas. But you’ll also find my reflections on living slowly, intentionally, and in sync with nature.
This isn’t a business for me. It’s a movement. It’s a love letter to the overlooked, the overgrown, and the people like you who want to grow something meaningful in the world.
